Load is due Monday 3/25 @0800 at Lowes flatbed DC in Ennis tx. Approx 650 miles

Picked up load in Dothan AL Thursday afternoon. Currently on reset at home in Pensacola FL. What is the best route? I've looked at GPS and atlas and I'm torn between two routes. Tempted to take the one that's 40 miles longer because it keeps me on the interstate more. My plan: leave here at 0600 Sunday 3/24 and plan to sleep somewhere around the 500-525 mile marker. Leaves me enough time to do a 10 he break and wake up early Monday morning to make the delivery on time. Is this a solid plan? Thank you!

Whatever you are more comfortable with. Between 20& 10 I'd cut up and run 20

I would leave earlier than 0600. Only because you will need some back roads to make it there. Off 20 you could take the Texas 34. I'd get to Jackson MS. and take 20 the rest of the way til Texas 34

    Coover Thanks this.

Someone will chime in and give him turn by turn directions. I know you were trying to do.

If always given the direct answer you will never learn

If I run 20 then I have to take us 98 and US 45 in Alabama. How r these roads are they decent? Do t want to get stopped at a bunch of lights

On elogs, OP, anything past 650 miles you better give yourself 2 days to get there. It's difficult to keep a consistent 70 mph east of Dallas and Houston

They're not bad roads. You won't totally avoid red lights. That's sometimes the BS of having to stay on marked highways. Start earlier.
