    Good evening truckers, I have a 2001 Mack cx613 the rpm just dropped to 4500 at idle. What can be the problem thank you

    Could be a lot of things. Can you tell us any other details about the change, is the idle smooth?, is there a slight skip? If it were my truck, i would be looking for a fuel issue

    No it’s not smooth it’s rough. The whole truck be vibrating but when I set cruise control to 6000 rpm like it was before, the truck is normal do you think it can be an bad injector ?

    Rough idle on a diesel is either going to be a bad injector or something up with the rockers (cracked/broken). It's going to need service, probably a good idea to get it into a shop asap.
