Wait! One more thing for Farmerbob before I move on LOL
This is directly from Crete's requirements for "owner operators":
Required Insurance
We require four types of insurance to lease your truck with us...We fund your plates and permits upon starting with us. This cost will be deducted from your weekly settlements in installments until the plates and permits have been paid in full. Upon completing the calendar year, you will become eligible for a relicensing credit that will be used to pay for your plates and permits in the upcoming calendar year. The relicensing credit is dependent upon productivity and maintaining a current active lease with us.
Business Deductions

Jk.
I'm at the J in KC off the loop. Nasty place. I do believe this is the same place a driver ran over and killed a bum who decided it was a good idea to sleep under the driver's trailer.
I want to go inside and get some of their food poisoning but I'm afraid to get mugged or approached by a nasty walking lady.
Of course I've been here before but would rather not be here. I've been here all day after delivery because nobody called my phone. If nobody calls my phone, I guess I don't move today. Usually Mondays are like this. I just play games on my phone.
I don't care this week because I'm about to go back home and do taxes and stuff and watch Michigan vs Texas Tech Thursday night.
I've been obsessed with college basketball this season and can't believe it's already tourney time. Go Blue! And duck Fuke. Sorry Captain Dave. Lol.
I spent the weekend at the Casino up the road. Plenty of parking. Lost some money playing poker but not much. Maybe $150. Watched the tournament on the TVs. Not a bad casino. I don't get into gambling much. Just poker every few months.
Rates are terrible. I'd go to Denver again if I could get $3.20 a mile to go there. But people take those loads for $2 so they can get $1 coming out. I guess they like running for $1.50 a mile average. Fxking idiots.
I see we've hit 2000 comments.
Thanks guys. But I think most of the comments are off topic stuff like what we just saw. Anyways if I have a kid one day then I hope this will be here for him/her to read over and learn from. Don't matter if they go into the industry or not. Would rather they didn't.2CAN, zmster2033, Scooter Jones and 1 other person Thank this. -
BoyWonder did you part ways with your co driver or still running team?
Feedman Thanks this. -
Last year was a disaster and I didn't do it right.
Let him go weekend of Thanksgiving.
It was a ##### trying to sleep with the truck moving. Don't think I'll ever do it again. -
Instead of staying at the crappy j, go 1 exit north across the river to the Ameristar casino
9417 Thanks this. -

There were plenty of trucks there over the weekend. Do you really think a casino is going to block off a big unused dirt lot in order to keep people from voluntarily giving them more money? I don't think so!
