2018 Intermodal

I completely forgot about the joys of picking up a tank at CN Harney and the placards either being gone or so faded they're unreadable or in Chinese. We used to carry blank class 3 & 8 placards and number stickers so we could make new ones up.
And now I remember one of the reasons why I don't pull ISO's anymore.

does cn give bills for hazmat loads ?

 

If you stop in the office they will give you the hazmat printout, but it's not a bol. Is enough to make you legal if I remember right.

ya i did a local. all went well and smooth. very easy. but man i cant imagine going far with a tank that surge tough on the truck.

 

I've dragged them to NY, going across PA is a rough ride. Gotta be smooth, take that surge and multiply by 3 and that's a smooth bore tank. Lol
