After 5 years of driving Cascadias

I have found the road king charger with the dual USB ports do not make any noise.

 

Factory coax and antenna mounts, have tried different antennas , no difference. If the truck is 5 years old you may want to remove the plates that cover the antenna mounts and check the coax connections for corresion, my truck has 120,000 miles and had to clean them up about a month ago, cold weather could of contributed, and Im sure you do your share if driving in the great white north, may also want to scrape of powder coat where mount makes contact with plate, but Im not telling you anything that you dont already know. What antennas are you using? Swr good? Was 2014 co- phased like newer models?

 

Haven't had time to get bored. Too many projects and I work at "retirement speed" plus I'm easily distracted so that adds to completion time as well. When I don't want to do a project, I go somewhere. Hoping to get my tower up before too long. Need to form an pour a sidewalk and plan to get the base set then.

 

It's a good idea to clean and shiny up all the grounds/mounting points at least once a year.

 

Amphenol makes 90-degree adaptors. The price will juju your wallet.

FME ended coax easy to use. No reason not to co-phase, IMO.

 

You using your Galaxy radio? Is the transmit and receive performance good ?
