Maybe they should have a qualified tech person check the trailers out when they're dropped empty at the DC and put a green tag on them if they're good to load ? Oh wait, i'm sure they thought of that so never mind.![]()

They have been preaching this for months in coldwater, want you to start down passenger side checking lights and end with pulling hoses and light cord.
I don't think that it's such a bad idea to have a refresher course for some of these guys on proper pre and post trips, geez I seen a 20 yrs driver do a pull thru at our DC not long ago.

I will say that some of the more tenured drivers here, I won't say don't know how to do a pre or post trip, but I will say they aren't doing much of a pre trip and are doing absolutely nothing on a post trip. I don't think training will cure laziness.

Anybody on here get issued an automatic truck? We're getting tons of them in, and my truck is at the mileage where it's going to go bye-bye.
Any quirks, or issues? Drove one some years ago and it wasn't a pleasant experience. Hopefully all the bugs are worked out.truckdriver31 Thanks this. -
the shop manger told us you cant jab brakes hard. if so it will down shift several gears at once. put rpms at 2500 and void trans warranty. causing wm to buy new trans
