My opinion, if you are going that much slower than the flow of traffic and you can see trucks catching up to you, you should’ve slowed down and stayed in the right lane.Snailexpress Thanks this.

My speed was 68, dropped to 66 to let car go before moving in left lane. You can do whatever you think is right. If someone you passing this way slips accidentally under your trailer wheel you welcome to post it here how you was doing everything right but........

I couldnt stay in the truck while it was on the shoulder. I walk to the tree line & relax in the shade.

This **** is getting old and way outta hand!!!
Drivers like the ones that hit the troopers are giving the Illinois State Police (and some other municipalities) an excuse to crack down even harder on truck drivers!!
I think I wanna drag some of these numbskulls out of their trucks and whip their ***,just on the general principle that they’re not moving over like they’re supposed to!!NavigatorWife, Digger130 and drvrtech77 Thank this. -

The wrong-way driver in a crash that killed an Illinois State Trooper in Green Oaks has not had a driver’s license in more than 20 years, records show.
The man, identified as 44-year-old Dan Davies from Calumet City, has not had a license since 1996.
