    I gather he managed to negotiate a plea deal with no prison time. I haven't been back since those allegations broke out, and the previous couple of radios he did for me came out less than stellar.

    I would have to agree. DTB radio would gain nothing by saying he did work that he didn't do. It's not hard to open a radio and see what finals were installed or if they were changed at all. One tech trying to talk trash about another. You see this kind of trash talking everyday from just about every tech out there. Don't use him because I am better and he is a hack.

    Agreed. You would be able to open the radio and look....if you knew what you were looking for. But when I first got into radios, I didnt know what to look for and just took the advice of the "tech". Everything aside, after getting it back from Chris, the receive is alot better and quieter which leads me to believe that the work was never done.
    So you have a choice, go with a potential lying scam artist, or a child molester.....and people wonder why CB's are dying out at an alarming rate.

    There are still real techs out there, I think old Kilgore in Texas is still working, Q5 communication in Wisconsin is fantastic, and Kelly Poots in Vegas is a good and quick tech. Good techs don't need to advertise or make stupid videos, they're too busy turning out customers radios.

    Just found out that Chris' work sucks ### too. I am retracting my previous endorsement of him. Dont bother with him, just another bs "tech".
    I'm done with radios, everything is being removed from my truck, it's just not worth the hassle and all the wasted money.

    He's a decent repair guy. Tunes are out of his league though. Lot's of info online if you dig deep enough.

    He's learned to put on a pretty good show for the uninitiated. A stock Cobra 29 will always outperform any 10-meter radio that he's tampered with.
