Drivers also say the CDL Genie app. is really good.

 

Depends on each persons circumstances. Personally, I don't see any problems with company sponsored school, as long as you choose a good company.

Having just passed it, this guide and the practice tests on The Trucker's Report are a good way to study.

Tip: Make #### sure you'll pass a drug screening (including pot) before you get your permit. If you don't pass before you get your permit, no big deal. If you don't pass after you get your permit, it's treated just like a CDL revocation by the DOL (very big deal, stays on your record a long time).

If you go the private/college school route, ask your school if they want you to have your permit before class starts. Some don't.
