I have amsoil bypass on my f550 powerstroke like it ,I change oil even when I dont need to just habit I suppose,If I put a bypass on my semis it will be a gulfcoast setup, pretty impressed W/ theirs.

I had a Spinner 960 centrifuge type on my other truck.Kept the oil clean.I have another one at home for my current ride, just don't know where I should tap into the oil galley on this Acert???Got to get it mounted pretty soon. From what I've read on this forum my Power Box is adding a lot of soot to the oil.

Amsoil and Gulfcoast both make a pretty good system.Comes down to personal preference I guess.

I'm buying a Spinner 960 later this spring for one simple reason. I don't need to buy filters for it. Yeah I will have to take the time to clean it out, but at least this way I can see whats coming out of the oil and no extra money out of my pocket.

I do know a couple guys that are running the Amsoil system and they say its "ok". Personally, if you still wanted a filter type system I would go with the Gulf Coast.

On my 02 Cat I only had to clean out the Spinner twice a year.

Have a buddy who just installed a spinner on his Acert ( feed is from 1/4 pipe plug behind oil filter) hes running schaeffers 7000 .his plan is to change Cat oil filter every 25k and sample til something in UOA spikes then change oil. theory is that at 17.00/gal even if you get only 50-60k on oil he believes he will be farther ahead because the spinner removes the soot and alot of the metals. i really like this theory. wish i had gone this route. like Pullingtrucker said,"no filters to change"

I see you have Davco 382. I assume you have sec filter also, are you running 50 mic filter cartridge ? (Fleetgaurd FS 19729 ) thought i would pass this on if you hadnt see this in other posts . i have 382 on my Acert and pull just under 1 in restriction. everything helps.
