EGR coolers & DPF filter 2012 Prostar Maxxforce

    How long can I expect new EGR coolers and new DPF filter to last in the Maxxforce 13 with minimal to no idling?

    The reason I'm asking is that I just spent a very large amount of money replacing these parts and the turbos and am looking to forecast when I might have to change them out if needed?

    I have heard the DPF will go 250-400K miles (is this when should I look to clean it?)
    EGR coolers 100K plus
    Turbos 400K

    @heavy any light that you can shed on this please.

    Coolers will go about twice that. DPFs will last that long as long as the rest of the aftertreatment is healthy, mainly the DOC. DPFs plug up because the DOC is worn out. If you want, remove and clean the DOC and DPF at least once every two years.
