    Right past the scales going southbound on 65 near Etown this guy had just gone up in flames. Rear left tractor tire. Brake freeze up and get it too hot? Have to open picture to really see it. I wasn't slowing down. 20190417_110850.jpg

    i would not have slowed down either....

    best to get past anything like thes, then be behind it.

    then too, one fire extinguisher would not put that out.

    this is what insurance is for.

    and that far left lane....

    Trying to put out a tire fire with extinguishers is nearly impossible. My guess would be bearing failure.

    I have a strict schedule to keep. As noted by people above, my extinguisher isn't going to dent a tire fire. I called 911 and they told me fire trucks enroute. The fuel tank is right beside the tire. You telling me you would have rushed over? The driver didn't even try.
