I would have sought a puddle. Yet if that had live chickens? Most of that load is toast from toxic fumes (pun intended)

please tell me, please tell everyone else..how do you help when the truck is burning, and a chance of an explosion, and the helper gets hurt or killed..by flying debris..?????

a fire with fuel, plastics, rubber and up to if not more that 100 psi in each tire, is in my opinion, no time to help..

now, a breakdown, or a medical emergency YES...

but you wanna chance getting yourself injured or KILLED, or having your truck catch fire by fuel flowing towards YOUR truck..????

    no thank you very much..........

but YOU CAN if YOU WISH......

He didn't say the driver was out or the driver was not trying to put it out. If I didn't see the driver,l would've stopped. Then he posted the driver was out. I said he did what he felt was right and hammer down. Now is that enough for you and everyone else?

    Yep, people keep trying though.

    http://sydenhamcurrent.ca/2019/03/05/update-401-crash-turns-fatal-2/

At approximately 11 a.m. a tractor trailer carrying salt caught fire in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 near Orford Road, resulting in the highways eastbound lanes being shut down.

The driver and lone occupant of the truck was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life altering injuries after a tire on the truck exploded as he was attempting to extinguish the fire.

Bud A., Rideandrepair, 25(2)+2 and 3 others Thank this.
