A friend of mine told me one time don't ever hire a homeless guy and take him somewhere to work number one if he even gets hurt 1 iota working for you you're responsible for all of his medical you made an agreement for him to work for you be it verbal or on paper it's still an agreement. I don't know about you but I don't want to foot the workers comp Bill and medical bill for the guy that falls off a ladder cleaning out my gutters I'd rather just hand him a dollar bill and keep driving.

During a news conference I saw on TV, the spokesman said they needed an interpreter to speak with him.

I've tried to find a good beat or riff for these lyrics, but nothing has worked thus far

@shogun you know of anything? These lyrics are monumental, just cant seem to pair them up

Sure I can se how that would play in court. “ I decided to ride it out because my handheld electronic device told me there was no traffic ahead”. Fn unreal guys like you and that 5 yr old truck guy driving a truck are why we have these problems

I agree with pretty much everything you have stated, but will add one thing.

It takes common sense to go along with everything else.
I do not to pretend to know what happened to this guy, nor what was going through his head, other than he messed up, we have all messed up or will eventually, hopefully not to this extent, but it will not be the last fiery wreck.

I have seen drivers make a living and retire, that were still not drivers, It did not used to be that common, but there has always been drivers that were not really drivers, but the old trucks generally weeded them out pretty quick, trucks these days not so much.

I remember something my grandad told someone back in the 60's. He said anybody can drive a truck, but there isn't many truck drivers. That statement means a whole lot more today than it did back then.

Well I believe that workers comp would cover it but you would be paying the workers comp plus his lost wages because now he can prove that he's gainfully employed and I'm sure that with all the scammers there are actually out there even a civil suit could come out of it for providing unsafe working conditions.
I've helped strangers before and I learned my lesson I didn't get sued but let's just say I wasn't happy about what happened.
So now I pretty much only help family and really close friends other than that everybody else is ### out.
    I hate being that way.
When my daughter brought one of her friends to our house one time that I had never met I told her do me a favor don't bring anybody to the house ,everybody's taking inventory no matter what of what you have that's just the way it is ,consciously or subconsciously. in two years from now who knows maybe that person is strung out on meth and they remember what I have in my house and decide to break in.
I'm a pretty cautious person nowadays don't get me wrong I'll give a homeless guy a buck with no problem I'm not going to sit there and Grill him about whether or not he's really homeless he may be scamming me, he may not be but it's my dollar and I can do with it what I please. And believe me I don't hand out a lot of free dollar bills. Lol

    I’ve tried to think
Of several songs but I am
    Really not sure
Of any that fit that tempo.

It’s not iambic pentameter I cant set
    It to a metronome
    I really am
    Puzzled
    By the style and genre?

Tell them what's up. What the job entails and how much you'll pay at the end. Have them fill out and sign a 1099 (it doesn't matter if they lie, you're not on the hook for that), at the end, pay the man. End of year, add the 1099 to your taxes. You just can't ask someone to do something that is unsafe as per OSHA.

    Dan.S and Scottyotty1 Thank this.
