To me it doesn't matter as much why they are stranded. Just that they are stranded. That's a messed up thing for they company to do. They could have just had them come to Olathe. Anyway try:

They might know where you can get help.

The only thing that comes to mind is being behind on lease payments, which I believe are weekly... The Lease Payments usually come out of your settlement, SO the truck probably broke down and he didn't have the money to fix it... Would be my guess.

Still a bad deal altogether that a company would literally leave you stranded... Go over to the Truckers Chapel.. I hear its open everyday, and try them out to see if you can get a ride

If he was a company driver I'd agree. Being a business owner he has a business to business relationship with them. They did not do this on a whim.
I know most businesses would do the same attempting to recover assets.
They simply didn't want him to strip the truck before they got it back

Those trucks are under warranty and even a lease truck that is in arrears is making money for TA if its moving under a load .
Tyson maybe jerks but they pay very well .

Mobile Chapel is a old organization, I don't exactly know if they are still active, I would assume so. I was based out of the Harrisburg Location as my home church of sorts on the road.

They might take care of your coffee, a proper meal if you need one. And maybe some information to fit your situation if at all possible. However be very careful because if anything is not quite right about your situation you will probably have a minimum of help, let's put it that way.
