Companies that will lease on trucks that are 99 and older

Packard Transport Channahon Illinois, Jones Motor Spring City, Pa and I think Admiral Merchants. All flat's except Jones. They have flat and van freight.

 

Mercer, landstar, admiral merchant, greentree, bennett, packard. those are the big ones. Literally hundreds of smaller carriers. No carrier worth leasing to cares about the age of the truck. They care about the condition and appearance of the truck.

 

One other thing, those that I mentioned let you run paper.

 

Are you certain packard allows paper? I thought they required elogs from new hires.

 

Positive. I’m there now.

 

They are a pretty good company so if elogs matter to someone that would put them higher on the list than landstar and mercer.

 

I really like them. Laid back, friendly. Course, no company is perfect, but then neither am I. Good company.

 

Landstar will lease your 99 truck , but you will run a eld.
