It's 76 degrees outside and the truck keeps shutting down. It just rained so maybe that is an issue? Because it idled fine at 63 degrees without shutdown.
How do I override idle shutdown on a 2018 International?

You don't. Your company does

Opus is right.
But you can try releasing the tractor brakes with the trailer brakes set, or bumping up the idle with the cruise control.
That's all I got.Tb0n3, Omega1 and motocross25 Thank this. -

My 2016 international is set to shut off after ten minutes of idling if the temperature is between 25 and 65.
However right before it shuts down when the temperature is between that range I get a flashing light on the dash saying it is about to shut off. All I have to do is tap the accelerator and then the truck will keep idling indefinitely.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -

Can confirm, bumping the idle on cruise is a fairly reliable way to defeat that infernal timer. Although I don't think that releasing the tractor brakes is necessarily a requirement for it to work... I sure as #### don't release my brakes, anyway

My cruise idle is disabled and the pedal truck doesn't work either. I too have 19 LT but was told if you have unplug the outside temp sensor it will idle but I have no idea where.it located. Any thoughts?

If so, the next time the truck is in the company shop they will wonder why the code shows up when you have the truck but not when it is in the shop.
Assuming you plugged it back in before you brought it in.
Tampering with company equipment will get you fired pretty quickly. No warnings.
And the high idle time is a dead giveaway.
I can cheat my '17 Cascadia for 30 minutes by wedging my tire thumper between the seat and throttle.
Give it just enough to barely raise the idle, as too much has little effect.
