I have heard that Amazon is one of the very Worst places to work. I'm not terribly surprised by your experience with them. Hope trucking treats you better (it could hardly treat you worse, right?)
Everyone wants free training in the trucking industry.

But School bus is only a class B.

For me it was the combo of having literally nothing to my name and all the "better" companies wanting 2 years OTR experience. Figured I could kill 2 birds with one stone at that point. Get my license for ">basically free," get my 2+ years experience, and start building something of a life for myself where previously I had none. Could I have done better? Abso-freaking-lutely. But where I am now is nothing but an improvement over where I was 6 months agopank83 Thanks this.

Pay cash for school and get a job that pays you 50 grand for your first year, or get "free" training along with a job that pays you 30 grand your first year.
Take your pick. Nothing is free. -
Yeah i know. Ijs to just get some driving experience in and getting decent fulltime pay working part-time hours isnt a bad option. Plus you can always upgrade later.

That's how I got my class B. I drove for Hall County for 1 1/2 years. I'd still be doing it, but we left the state.
