That and a DOT five panel. It was tough back in them days, wrapping a towel around the twin sticks, pulling the ball valve and lighting a cigarette all at 95 mph. I remember Tim McGraw running across the desert trying to catch up to me. I was taking senior citizens from Provo, then deadhead to Laredo and pick up illegals headed to California fruit farms.

Math and science, kids.
And I don't mean "social sciences".
As for the adults crammed five to a pickup wanting us to honk our horns, I have a feeling we're doing a bit better than them. -
65 psi to the air horn that’s impressive. what kind of mpg where you getting with the immigrants on board and who did the tune on the bus.The Veteran, snowman_w900 and Humblepie Thank this.

I HATE that cord!.
In the Volvo it is on the steering wheel - where it SHOULD be!
Not my Cascadia. And those engineers are morons for keeping it a cord up in a corner.
That cord makes me hunt for it, so it is useless to me - unless I see a kid asking for a toot.
Then I'll find it and toot it if I think it is otherwise safe to do so. -
I get the window open a couple inches and put my left hand up there whenever I spot something dubious.

I enjoy making kids happy if I'm not going to startle anyone.
As for the drunken thirtysomething hillbillies in the 1986 Ford Ranger with broken shock absorbers buzzing down the highway at 72 mph, not so much. -
No, that was 65psi Turbo boost. I had well over 150 psi straight to the horns.
The horns doubled as weapons also. If I was down in Juarez getting a load of illegal mexicans headed for the sweat shops of New York City, I could wedge wooden ski balls onto the horn trumpets and if cartels were trying to hijack my bus, I could crack the 1" ball valve and shoot those wooden ski balls in all directions.
At 150 psi and a massive flow of air, a wooden ski ball is almost as powerful as a AK-47The Veteran, OLDSKOOLERnWV, shogun and 3 others Thank this. -
Thinking of upgrading my air horn and adding a free flow straight pipe.
The Veteran and snowman_w900 Thank this.
