Your statement "The Mexicans are not running wild around the US."
I know you're talking about mex trucks, but just think about it a minnit. Now add projection.

Do you OWN the property that house is standing on? BTW, nice house.

I would, not prefer mexican trucks running the roads. After living in Houston 10 plus yrs and seeing the junk driven around the wrecks it would not make good sense for safety reasons. Houston police citations come in spanish, who pays for that we do.
I have known all kinds of people my whole life, sum bad sum good. Dosent matter your skin color but at this day in age their would be more negatives for Americans then good to come out of the Mexican truck pilot program.. -
Your just paranoid LOL
-
ROTFLMAO.....Is that one of those FMCSA approved rigs?.....
-
PARANOID is a Total state of awareness.
And I wish I could remember what magizine it was last month from a TA that a mexican trucker wrote, regarding mexican trucks rolling in the U.S.
he left a yahoo email address, but he paints a whole different pic of the mexican trucking rules... Far from the one that starts off this thread...
-
that was the newspaper "The Trucker". I read that one,it was in the "readers write" section,,,March edition I think(not sure what week).
-
I read that letter to with great suspicion. That was written by a native English speaker who probably has never set foot in Mexico beyond the ##### zones.
Kinda like the morons in the truck stops talking crap on the CB to get peoples tempers up! -
The junk you see driven around Houston and elsewhere is the same as the border drayage trucks.
Someone buys them a $10,000.00 used tractor from one of the truck lots out around McCarthy and runs it until the wheels fall off or the HCSD commercial vehicle boys catch him.
Ain't really no differentHOLDYOURGROUND Thanks this. -
So what you are saying is that Mexican Carriers by and large, are equivalent to US and Canadian carriers correct?
There is the HOS (among other differences) differences that are not equivalent....
(Emphasis Mine)
