Schneider Idling

Yes they do but I think Schneider eased up a bit on the policy.

Trucks with apu/epu will idle at 90.

Trucks without will idle at 70.

In practice most trucks will idle at 65.

 

Try not to die.

 

Buy hand warmers, find the temperature sensor, apply liberally.

 

So do you loose money for idling or have to come to terminal for re-education....?

 

I think you're taken out back for attitude adjustment

 

We don't do that anymore. "Out back" is either full of equipment we haven't been able to dupe someone into buying yet or has been leased out to pad our quarterly reports.

That and the or group is to busy dealing with people who can't couple.

In all seriousness no one looks at idle time anymore - if you hit the fuel economy standard's you're good. I'm 1 mpg over standard, so it is not hard to hit.
