I've always wanted an traditional Adobe home but the Midwest is to wet.

I was heading west toward Crow agency 3 years ago in the rain. Than tight before turning north at Crow agency on to I-90 it got old and froze up my trailer. That took a while to fix in the dark.
Side note I hit a deer on 212 near the Bentonite factory.

    Ghosts, and Spirits.
    Janitors, custodians.
Left twix, right twix nothing in common.

The .45-70 was a brand new cartidge at the time... The shot was actually at the end of the battle... It in fact ended the siege.

It was taken by Billy Dixon, likely with a .50-90... Although at the time the cartridge was know as a 50 2-1/2 inch. The distance is much debated... Estimates by witnesses put it around 1000 yards... But later surveyors measured it at around 1500 yards. The shot cleanly knocked a warrior from the back of his pony.

Going south on US93 between Jackpot and Wells,NV. Middle of the night. Saw a freaky light streaking across the sky and it was getting closer to me. I nearly soiled my chonies. Weirdest thing I ever saw. Found out later it was a rocket launch from Vandenberg AFB in California. I am surprised because it looked like it was just a couple miles away.

Late night run near Clovis,NM. Had a drone or drones buzz me twice. Kind of like they were doing target practice on me.

I’ve had a few weird feelings over the years when stopping on desolate roads but those two incidents were the most memorable.

One spot that creeps me out is on Highway 5A in BC. Place called Quilchena. The hotel there is alledgedly haunted.

I agree with a previous poster about 212 from belle fourche sd to crow agency mt ...large critters and rez living at its finest and I avoid it after dark .
Same for us 77 at Macy Nebraska and us 30 from mccammon Idaho to little America Wyoming.
Maybe not creepy but an encounter with a large animal or an intoxicated native American is probable.

I-95 South Carolina around the 56mm going south, around 0100hrs.

White car startles me passing on the left that I didn't see coming up... Slows down somewhat as it goes by my door and I look over seeing the glow of the dash and the center console.

For the life of me I couldn't see anyone driving the dang thing and it was one of those moments where you feel the hair stand up in the back of your neck...

Shortly thereafter.. the car speeds up and the highway makes a left bend.... I come Around the bend not far behind...and there is nothing to be seen of the car anymore....poof!!.. Gone...!!! Gave me chills!
    Freaking bizarre!!

All the creepy roads I have come across have been in major cities, I happen to like those lonely roads, dirt or paved mountains or woods, two lane or one. the less traffic the better.

How about us 26 over though central WY... Ran that in the middle of the night a few times this winter to get around closures of I-80... Up on top the pass the snow banks were as tall as my truck... I got the heeby-jeebies when I pulled into a pull out to cool a brake... It was a Crystal clear night and the glow of the snow banks in the moonlight was beautiful... But when I got out of my truck it was dead silent, and that just doesnt feel natural to me. Even in the middle of nowhere there is some noise, but not that night. Needless to say I didnt waste any time.
