Cargo theft, especially of high value cargo is always a concern, no matter who the driver isLepton1, rabbiporkchop and TripleSix Thank this.

Usually, high dollar loads are locked and sealed at the shipper. Some times, even padlocked.
And the stupid money loads, usually those go to the top drivers who've built a name and a reputation. Lowlife drivers are so short sighted that they will never get to the point to where they even know about the high dollar loads.
Cargo theft happens, mostly on the lower end though.Lepton1, wore out, Intothesunset and 5 others Thank this. -
The only thing you might see otherwise is if the receiver feels they want to tip you. Yet that rarely happens. Otherwise in August is driver appreciation week. Kind of like halloween with out the costumes. Companies will leave some stock available for drivers. I hauled to Pepsi and they said wife and I were welcome to a case apiece of what ever we liked.

Remember those drivers hauling gold that staged being robbed along the shoulder?
And Werner delivers to a lot of Best Buy stores, odds are a brand new driver with a brand new CDL is delivering high dollar stuff. -

What do you consider high dollar?
An ICBM missile and portable launch pad?
Any Landstar BCO can buy a decrepitly old FLD and lease it on to Landstar and put a brand new driver in it and book loads that are worth millions.
Right? -
