I believe I read somewhere ATS requires at least 5yrs OTR before they even hire ya. Then you work your way up to the big loads.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I've hauled a lot of blades, though I do not currently, nor have I ever driven for ATS. I am considering going to them however.
ATS is the largest company that hauls wind tower components. -
I think its ats.

Those Blades are 142 ft. long... WOW!
-
They get bigger than that. The ones I hauled last year were 157' long, and there is talk of longer ones yet! I know in Denmark, they are using ones offshore that are a hair over 200' long. -
Hey, I dunno if this got answerd or not, a million freakin replys, but I know LONESTAR FLATBED outa.... Sweetwater/Abilene area, hauls those windmills out to the windmill farms.
-
They require one year. Then you work your way up to the big loads. Depending on available freight, this could be fast as in a year or much longer.

TerryLamar, you still pulling for ATS?
