I did it for 15 years and that was enough. It's a very good job but as you know a very tough job. 110 stops....I remember working half days too lol. Most I ever did was 436 during Christmas, a lot of easy townhouses but still kicked my ### lol.
Seat belt and shoulder belt...?

I'm not buying that, and no way to prove it. You can't tell me the majority of the people don't freeze up and only extra control the put in is trying to push brake pedal threw floor.

Doesn't matter if you buy it or not, the best place for a driver to be is in the driver's seat behind the wheel, not flying around inside or outside their vehicle.not4hire Thanks this.

Those videos prove they are filling seats with warm bodies. LOL
The one was sitting on a stack of newspapers.FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
We do have government healthcare. We don't have single payer.
Insurance premiums are based on risk. No seat belt use, risk goes up, premiums go up.
Don't matter how much they write off, it still costs something.
There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.Rideandrepair, PE_T, not4hire and 1 other person Thank this. -
I got to try mine out 17 years ago.
Blacked out from low blood sugar at 58 mph. Went off 15 ft drop onto solid granite rock. The seat air ride broke coming down allowing the seat belt to have some extra slack so my face still hit the steering wheel breaking my right cheek bone and a concussion.
After three days in the hospital I was alright. The truck and trailer was written off.Last edited: Jun 15, 2019

This was mine in 2012. The cab wasn’t this bad from accident but damaged more during the recovery. The seatbelt held me submerged in water. But it was better than rolling around the cab or worse. It rolled almost all the way over as I went over on passenger side.Rideandrepair, PE_T, Lepton1 and 5 others Thank this. -
Until it ain't and their is something else occupying that same space. No one scenario is the gospel and there is times that behind the wheel is not where a guy is going to survive.adayrider Thanks this.
