P608 thank you for your great advice. That option crossed thru my mind many times since they destroyed the turbo. Of course I'm really concerned and worried what else they will break if I keep it there. Monday morning will be there to talk again with the owner of the shop.

Dude, I wouldn't even talk to him unless he is willing to foot the bill for cat to fix it right.

At the time when this happened the only person I could talk were the owner wife (only one that spoke English) because her husband the owner had a surgery and he wasn't there. I understand that you are right about taking it to CAT. At least I want to hear what he's got to say on Monday if he doesn't agree that this was their fault I will have it towed to CAT or 1mile away Kenworth dealer.

Even if he says it is his fault, take it to cat, let them deal with fixing it, you'll be better off.

Hi to everyone. First of all I would like to say thank you for your time and sharing your opinion and advices on my recent breakdown. So I listened to you all and today I had the truck towed from this shop. Owner of the shop was really not cooperative and angry and i had to call cops to assist me to get my truck back and get all the neccessary information for future legal fight. So I had it towed to my shop were I always repair my truck except of this case. Nothing bad to say about my CAT but one major thing that make CAT a pit to drain money is the cost of replacement parts. So my turbocharger is not accepted as core and my local CAT quote me for just one turbo 2700$ plus non refundable core deposit of 2200$ so in total of 4900 just for one turbo. Man... I got 2 turbochargers and if I need to replace both that's almost 10K$. So I bought aftermarket turbo they come in set so for my both turbos I paid 1150$ plus 500$ shipping overnight from California. I read good things about JM Turbo Technology. Does anyone have this JM Technology turbos and what's your positive and negative opinion about it..?

Why didn’t you look into Borg Wagner turbos? Those are best replacement aftermarket turbo. I don’t know anything about JM.

I’d choke that owner as soon as his surgery was over.

Looked everywhere on internet couldn't find anything. I have a 04 ACCERT twin turbo. From what I know Borg Wagner makes turbochargers for single turbo set.
