A need for speed?

Pending legislation in Springfield may soon allow large trucks to roll faster along Interstate 57 through Kankakee and Iroquois counties.
Two identical bills, now in the House, would raise the speed limit to 65 mph for trucks over 8,001 pounds along rural sections of interstate highways. The weight classification could include any large truck from a 5-ton pickup or cargo truck up to and including semitrailer rigs.

They have passed similar bills several times, the Governor always veto's it.

Well, Illinois has a NEW GOVERNOR, Pat Quinn. This man seems to have more common sense than a corrupt governor like Rod Blagojevich

Hopefully so! Seems like Illinois is one corrupt state from the outside looking in. Rod Blasunovabitch did all he could to drive trucking companies from the state.
