so fake, can't tell that neither trailer match.
-
Uuuuuh, No.
A. My buddy wouldn't send me a picture and then claim that he took it when it was a fake. As a matter of fact, he wouldn't know how to photoshop a picture if you paid him.
B. You can find the news story by pasting the following phrase into Google: semi trailer snaps in half on milwaukee's northwest side
C. He apologizes for his crappy cell phone camera. Lots of better pictures on that Fox News site that comes up when you do the above search. -

From the news station web site. You are correct, its real. -
Yup, sure is real. But I will admit, that first picture did look fake. I can't imagine driving down the road and having that happen. Does that occur from improper load placement in the trailer?
-
At first glance it looked fake ... but you can see the shadow of the day on the trailer ( which gave it the 2 color look and a possible photo shop ) and if you look close enough you can see that the tires are being pushed in the ground from all the pressure ... your friend got a good pic even from a cell phone ... what are the odds of being right there to see that ...
panhandlepat Thanks this. -
Ya, he said it was in the morning so the sun must have been coming in broadside on it. He says that it had just happened becasue there were no police or news crews there yet.
Here it is again after I tried to tone down the brightness a bit.Attached Files:

I have not yet checked out the article yet ... do you know what caused the split? no injury?
-
The walls of a frameless dry van support the load. Occasionally, the floor will tear away from the walls, and sag. In the photo, the walls twisted when they came loose from the roof. This usually happens when the trailer hits a low clearance. Have you hauled a heavy load in a dry van and watched the walls ripple with the unevenness of the road?
-
No I have not ... I am not a driver ... but as a 4wheeler I have seen such a thing in passing a dry van ... scary ...
