I'm seeing a new negative trend being born with truckers

On three different occasions tonight I am seeing truckers cruising in the hammer lane below the speed limit and refuse to get into the right lane. I understand some parts of the country where segments of the right lane have massive pot holes or even worse filled pot holes that make your truck go airborne, or cities where oncoming traffic is always merging, but I had to pass three trucks from the right lane tonight. I see them in the distance all alone doing 65 MPH in a 70, I flash my lights at them and they remain in the hammer lane, so then I zoom past them on the right lane while they still remain there cruising like a four wheeler. I guess this is the new thing from the "only care about me" society. I wish law enforcement would do something about this and people who cruise beside you with their brights on.

 

I floor it then they are gone from my mirror in two seconds and I look at the speedometer to see I'm doing 95 and slow it back down. I may govern my next truck to 89 since a DD15 505 HP in a new light weight aerodynamic truck is really fast.

 

When you say "you" I assume you are referring to the dumb drivers that cruise the hammer lane.

I've only noticed them once every few months during busy downtown three lane roads which I understand. But now I see it on teo lane roads out in the middle of nowhere with no traffic

 

I see them do this at night it may be they are idiots trying to keep bright lights out of their mirror. I have two effective ways to prevent that problem.
