There is a significant amount of paranoia in this thread.

And like I said earlier...here is another lame attempt at insult from someone who cant truly make a statement to counter our legitimate AND PROVEN concerns on this issue. Not one single one of you have given even one reason to support this junk. You refuse to concider legit concerns and then leap to attempts to insult. How about this? If you cant add anything productive to the conversation, log off and hush up. Enough said.

People who have a terrible attitude like yourself, are the reason a camera is a great idea. It would hopefully make you more aware of the bad temper, and lack of self control you have, and keep you from road raging so often knowing that you are being watched.

You dont know anything about my attitude dude. I am just tired of you people who keep making insulting comments without even attempting to understand or to add anything constructive to the conversation. You want to define my attitude when your own attitude couldnt be worse concidering how condescending and insulting you want to be. As I said in earlier posts, I do not need anyone watching me drive. I have 27 years accident free. I have no points on either my MVR or PSP. I do not road rage. I am a very easygoing person. I just value my privacy. Go read my prior posts and you will see that my driver facing camera issues have nothing to do with driving. I even posted that if I were a local driver and didnt live in the truck Id be ok with driver facing cameras. My problems with it are not about my driving. It is about my off duty privacy. If you cant understand that I dont know what to say. And even after I pointed out your insulting pist earlier, you followed it up with another insulting post. You probably are not qualified to assess my attitude! Good evening.

I stopped driving with that sock over the camera (it was just a 2-week experiment to confirm my suspicion that no one was watching me), but I cover up the camera whenever I’m parked.

You proved how miserable you are to people who you know nothing about.
And by the way I beat your 27 years experience, I am no rookie.
    Peace out!!!

It all depends on the company. You work for a good company and they trust their drivers then they are going to use them for accidents. Plus if you're a good driver there's nothing to worry about.

You people have been missing, on purpose it seems, the entire point Ive been making! I DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THESE CAMERAS IN RELATION TO MY DRIVING. THE PROBLEMS WITH THESE CAMERAS HAVE TO DO WITH PRIVACY CONCERNS WHEN I AM NOT DRIVING. I AM A PROFESSIONAL DRIVER WHO EXCEEDS ALL STANDARDS WHEN BEHIND THE WHEEL. This is not a simple foolish "if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear" issue. And none of you still have given any real valuable support for their acceptance and use . Is that because you all can't even think of a reason to accept them? You seem intent on just insulting those who do not. Anyway, I didnt mean to highjack Tarmadilo's thread. I can not and will not accept their use in an OTR truck that I live in probably more hours total than I operate it. And since none of you can give a valid reason to, and can do nothing but stack insults upon insults, as MartinFromBC has so eloquently demonstrated, Im done here before the mods start getting upset. And Martin, you do not beat me at anything. You certainly conduct yourself, and obviously allow your company to treat you, as a rookie. If you need babysat and hand held like a common steering wheel holder, perhaps it is a good thing you accept these cameras. Have a great day!

I've stated before the real reason why the cameras were installed. Don't clump me in with all drivers that are opposed. Your reason for not having the cameras does not make sense unless your driving naked. They only come on when the brakes are applied and should be used for insurance reasons. If they are on all the time then the company is using them incorrectly. And I can guess what types of companies those are.

Day 157 of having black electrical tape blocking my driver facing lense. Still no comments from Swift about the obstruction.

As for the Swift hobo joke... I have a tongue in cheek response to that which will frankly not be leaving my mouth
