I drove in their Texas only fleet and if I hadnt moved back to Cali I would still be working there. No complaints on that fleet.
Any Info about Heartland Express??

Being known as Heartless is not a rumor, it is a fact of life. They have been known for that for years & have earned the title.
When they took over IDC & I quit, one of heartlands recruiting people called me to try & get me back a couple months later. I told her I would never work for a company with their rep or be seated in a bare bones truck running shorthaul lucky to get home for a restart twice a month.Milkman719 Thanks this. -
Don't work for em. I haven't read all the responses here...but I can say the few I have are correct... Heartland lies from recruitment unitll you quit or terminate.... I was promised certain dedicated runs, refunds such as baggage reimbursement to orientation, miles a week, pay for miles ran even empty....it's all lies.... It's a crap company. I never wanted to be an o/o but now am seriously considering it...all of these companys treat the help like garbage. No reimbursements, impoosible time frames ( unless you can trip plan and know how to falsify logs) so many drop n hooks, driver relays,,,these are where they really screw you because you won't have final signed bol after drop at customer, so you may take a load 100 miles, relay it to another driver for delivery, and guess what....you won't get paid....take pictures of everything, document everything, and fight with heartlands payroll Dept, safety, dispatch etc....it's a joke...

Has anything changed at Heartland in the last four years? Detention pay?
