Do you wear your seatbelt?

I had a trainer that didnt care one way or the other. DOT will probably smarten up to TTR. The Illinois DOT smartened up to trucker path and started nailing those scale dodgers. Those of you admitting online that you dont wear it, might have made the target on us larger than it already is

I've been dodging scales for 25 years. Trucker path has nothing to do with it. In fact its a lot more secretive now because of trucker path. Used be that's all you heard on the CB, where are the cops and are the scales open. And they have been busting guys for going around since they invented scales houses. The old saying "no reason to volunteer, make them work for it.

 

In a car a seat belt makes it more likely to survive a bad wreck. These are trucks. Being trapped inside that fiberglass cab isn't going to increase your chances of survival. I'll take my chances jumping out.

 

My buddy was told flat out that it was a good thing he got ejected when rolled his 379 or he would be dead.

 

It's a money grab scheme thanks to liberals in the government. More and more of these laws get passed with seemingly minor fines to augment city and state coffers. If it's okay to abort a weekend of uninhibited frolicking, I should be able to live (or die) by my own choosing. To borrow from Roe v Wade, keep your laws off my body.

 

Ok the law is still the law.

 

I've been bending and breaking rules my entire life. Write me a ticket, maybe I'll pay it. Michigan is still waiting....
