I would say not having headlights on in the rain is more of a safety concern for the general public, i.e. it affects more people than just yourself, but I NEVER see our fairy dust sprinkled state troopers out writing citations for that.... Perhaps they're afraid the pixies won't replenish the sparkly glitter? But...a SEATBELT????? Pull that scofflaw over, waste their time AND give them a fine!!!!!! That's how I know it's just an easy money grab. Write tickets to otherwise safe drivers just because they aren't concerned for THEIR OWN safety and leave those that have the real potential to cause unsafe situations for OTHERS alone.

I only mentioned trucker path because of a thread the other day about the Illinois blitz. They were setting out to catch scale dodgers at certain locations.

Source? The entire truck is certainly not made out of fiberglass. There should be metal frames throughout the entire truck cab. Yes, if the accident is very intense, the truck frame won’t save you. According to a big fleet I used to be part of, big accidents that result in numerous deaths are rare, luckily. Reported crashes are available to the public on the FMCSA site.
