Correct me if I'm wrong but...
How was your time at Knight?snowman_w900, Woodchuck88 and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this. -
Also, very few CMVs actually weigh 80K either. However, the destructive potential a laden 18 wheeler has is not something to be taken lightly. The dude also has a history of an average of one accident every 3 months. Yes, I question the OPs decision making, any sane person would!

See my previous post above... I believe this is the company in question... But I could be wrong.Woodchuck88 and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this.

Usually these "stupid" uturn prohibitions are due to some moron doing a uturn on a busy road and resulted in the deaths of several people... which the "stupid" company had to fork out millions of dollars for. So stupid drivers who cannot follow simple instructions like not doing uturns across on coming traffic (sometimes at high speeds) n a 70+ foot long, articulating, slow vehicle are usually welcome to seek employment at companies who haven't had that fatal accident yet..
alds, jammer910Z, Studebaker Hawk and 2 others Thank this. -

Hi @Woodchuck88,
How are you?
Truth be told, this was the advice of a an ex-truck driver / ex-fleet manager turned recruiter. I called him up to ask before posting all this. The individual gave me the go ahead to post all this on the forum, as shown above.
As mentioned in earlier posts, I am not able to pass a D.O.T. physical. No training company, no truck driving school will accept me as a student just for this reason.
In the past, I wanted to drive a truck so badly that I could TASTE it. My goal was to eventually learn how to drive a truck and go OTR to all 48 states, Canada, possibly to Alaska.
By the time I was finished with a lot of family situations, parental eldercare responsibility before my parents passed away, along with other life situations, my health took a turn for the worse, preventing me from being able to pass a D.O.T. physical.
I have never married, never had any children, and live in a 1 bedroom apartment, which would allow me to be gone for extended periods of time.
I have been at my current job for 12+ years and ticket free for 10+ years. I have 3 accidents on my record: 2 no fault accidents; 1 in 2014, 1 in 2010, and an at fault accident back in 1995.
By the GRACE OF GOD, I have never been arrested for or convicted of any crimes at all. What little drinking that I did, I gave up many years ago. I cannot handle alcohol, 1 can of beer will make me legally drunk, (NOT an exaggeration).
God bless you and your entire family!

I
Agree his record is horrible. Probably shouldn't be driving anything possibly. I feel this way for about half of our driving community. I don't drive a WMD. Bad drivers do, and it comes in all forms. Not just trucks. As I said, just a pet leave of mine Moose.
