I think it might be because of very hot sourced heat in the Emissions system around that area.

Since no one else has said it yet, I guess I will.... If it wasn't for elogs, she wouldn't have been pressed for time and could have stopped before the ramp to make a decision.
(it's just as plausible as any other excuse)

Looking at that picture, did her trailer go to one side of the road while her tractor went over to the other? That’s some crazy Hollywood stunt driving there.

Nothing sexist but I didn’t think this wreck was newsworthy. Now if a woman didn’t have a wreck, that should be on the front page of USA Today.

    Lepton1 and lovesthedrive Thank this.
  7. it was newsworthy because it close 440 for hours and hours..
and if you know about the 440 30 interchange which is basically the connection with Mexico now and the unbelievable volume of traffic with GPS is being routed onto it..
in the last 3 years it is quintupled the amount of traffic prior to 2013 nobody would have foreseen the volume of people driving anything with wheels on that particular connector stretch on any given day at any time..
    so yes it was newsworthy..
now I had it happened bend in a river downstream somewhere on some little Podunk town I highly doubt it.

It's from atomization of the diesel fuel. When the tank ruptures the fuel atomizes and you get the right air/fuel ratio for a heat source to ignite it.

You can pour fuel in a cup and dunk a lit match into it - nothing will happen, the match goes out. This is because there is not enough oxygen to ignite the fuel. This can be done with gasoline, diesel, kerosene, etc.

Gasoline is much more volatile due to the fumes which can ignite, but diesel contains much more energy potential so you get massive fireballs.

If you fill a spray bottle with diesel and spray a lit match, you'll see what I mean.

I use diesel in place of order weed control such as round up etc. Never had any issues.
