Anyone go to school and obtain a class A through Roadmasters or more specifically roadmasters in tampa? Also if you did go through them, were any of you veterans that used part of your GI bill?
Edit: is there any other school you would recommend? Thank you

I went through Roadmasters here in Fontana, CA. What questions do you have?
I personally didn't use my GI Bill, I went through WIOA instead and had the state pay for my schooling. Two buddies of mine used their GI-Bill for it with no issues. The only issues they had was the VA being slow to pay the school. However they got it resolved pretty quickly.
We all got our Class A with no issues and I personally had a great experience through their program here in California. All of the instructors were great and friendly. That being said, there are a few cons, the first being that all the trucks are automatics, so you will get a restriction. They are owned by Werner and they will try and force you to go with them. The last being but could be different where you are; you will be with a group of about 4-6 people and just 1 instructor. But like I said, that could be different over there in Florida. Probably not though.
Hope this helps, if you have any questions feel free to ask. -
I finished school in Tampa back in 2015, currently driving tanker with hazmat, so they not bad. But they straight forward, all they do it's helping you pass the CDL written and driving test with manual . Nothing else . So if you expect to be a pro trucker right after school , don't expect much.
