A dyno will not show what injector is bad. A dyno is not a magic bullet that tells all, it will only confirm you have a problem and may help diagnose problem if the mechanic can see what its doing on the dyno.

maybe timing sensor is going, it soon maybe gets missing like your truck
-
hook up coumpter and go down the road had the same problem with n14 only we found it injtor was cuting out
-
i tried that and the shop couldnt find out which injector was bad
-
My Cummins ISM had the same symptoms a couple weeks back, it vibrated and missed bad under load but ran fine at steady throttle. No check engine light or any codes.
The Cummins shop took about 20 minutes to diagnose a bad injector. If your shop cant identify which injector is bad, find a new mechanic. -
