Yip , I operate Volvo , Mercedes , Daf , Hino , Fuso , Freightliner . Mack ,Navistar and Peterbuilt in the past.
American trucks really are the rattle traps of the lot. European most comfortable and Japanese most reliable. My newest truck has about 30 000 miles and been back to dealer 5 times now with clutch failure warning. They adjusted it first 4 times , now removed G box and replaced clutch, slide and fork. Although I bought it this year with 500 delivery miles on clock from dealer it is actually a 2016 model. Guy who bought it cash never picked it up. He eventually just sold it at a discount. It still has 2 year warranty on drive line but clutch is not covered due to been over 2 years old.haycarter Thanks this. -

Everything on the FL seems a lot simpler and many things are easier to get at which is a huge plus. Parts for the Detroit are much cheaper versus the CAT.
