Put ur big boy panties on , flatbedding aint for sissies. U come on here everyday and complain how much u hate to tarp. Ive ran 400 mile loads for the past week and all of them full lumber tarps and im making 30% less money than u. I dont complain cuz its part of the game sometimes boss. Yeah it sucks it takes 3 hrs to tarp and another 2 to get loaded and 1 hr on delivery to put all equip away and another 2 to get unloaded. It burns an entire day , we all get it . but ur at a good outfit . the grass aint always greener . especially when u making money. Thats hard to find in this industry . if u want conestogas go to gary amoth or grady hudson. Or get on with one of them steel companies if ur up in pa , i see more conestogas up there in that part of the country then anywhere else. It seems u really dont want to change just want to complain about ####, or u would put in the effort to find something

Just something to think about. You may not have experience hauling other types of freight but there is only one way to get it. Making the leap.
First off you need to decide what your long term goal will be. Do the research and plan according. The more years you spend hopping around could cost you in the long run. Say if you went to a company like OD and runs are bid by seniority.
It may be rough in the beginning but it does pay off long term. I spent 2 1/2 years pulling flats/vans/oversize. Spent countless hours in this forum among others looking at other avenues once i realized being stuck out on the road and home for a reset just wasn't my thing.
To some degree i do miss the skateboard world but i had to be honest with myself. long term, the company i started with wasn't going to provide the career type benefits that get people to stay.
