Deers

I've had dozens of deer just waiting alongside the road to run out in front of me. By the grace of God none have attempted to become hood ornaments.

If I spot Bambi early enough, I will sound my horn and she'll have second thoughts about crossing. Then I flash my lights at oncoming traffic to alert them of potential danger.

 

I have a really loose winch at the very rear of my 53' and I think it scares them when it rattles. I can see them look up before I get there 90% of the time.

 

I've almost hit deer with yard goat when I was spotting last year. They were spooked by the July 4th fireworks and came running into the yard at night lol.

I did hit one in a semi. It was just a doe and went under. It was winter conditions and I wasn't going to mess with swerving or brakes.

 

I can't believe no one has pointed out that OP added an S to a word that's already plural

 

We are truckers, half of us is doing good just to get out of bed and start the engine each day

 

Because it's truckers I thought they would know deer better than most.

I'm sorry I shouldn't stereotype. It's a bad example for the childrens

 

It matches the “CDL’s” a lot of guys get.

 

The irony is the CDL came about as an answer to Drivers having multiple Licenses. Lol

 

I've killed two deer with this so far.
Only broke a lightbulb.
