Macro 38 is the request for home time. This is not exactly clear for the trainee because in the Werner's Driver Handbook, it states to call your SDM. It seems the SDMs at Werner are there to keep you on the truck no matter what. As for Drivers Relation department, I had no idea that this department existed at Werner. Calling the main switch board at Werner may get you to this department. Also Drivers Hot Line department may also be the same thing as Drivers Relation.If you got home a day later, I would not be to upset with Werner. If it was a couple days or more than I feel Werner could be consider scum if they did not try to compenstate you for your trouble. It seems the DMs were well aware of your situation with 14 goal hours left.

 

DR has a direct line however, at the moment I am unsure of what it is. Just call the main number and ask for DR.

 

FMLA requires 1 year employment before you are eligible. THat is with any company.
