I’ve been called worse. I was wondering what the good jobs are paying, these days. $37 hr. .82 cpm. Not bad. I notice Road Trucks are running a bit faster these days. Still Proffesional though, unlike the maniacs I see driving Fed ex Trucks. Lol. UPS, Special Contract. ABF,, YRC, Master Freight, who else is there? I’m looking for a good local job ( possibly) in Detroit area. Preferably Teamster. I still have my withdrawal card. So I’m good to go.LtlAnonymous and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

Holland.... in Romulus, MI Local 120 if I'm not mistaken?????LtlAnonymous and Rideandrepair Thank this.

Local 299, In Detroit, also 337 is in the same building. That’s Where Jimmy Jr.s office is at. I applied at Holland once, a long time ago. Never heard a word.LtlAnonymous Thanks this.

There are guys doing "dock/cdl combo" here who ARE making 2K, 5 days, no weekends, no nights, home daily. Snow if they have to, full benefits and paid holidays.
The days are long, but it does pretty much fit the above list except snow and 4 day workweek.LtlAnonymous, FlaSwampRat and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
UPS is not the only answer. What type of work are you willing to do? Liquor delivery at Republic National = $2000+, 4 day workweek,no weekends.LtlAnonymous and Rideandrepair Thank this.
-
Ok, nevermind---i re-read and saw you were being sarcastic.
Nontheless, Republic national DOES pay 2K+ per week in 4 days----IF you're willing to kill yourself....LtlAnonymous and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
Thanks just the same.I am seriously looking for a back up plan.Due to a lot of uncertainty. These days. Keeping what I got going, but able to walk away if necessary. I haven’t kept up with local pay scales. Used to, though. Seems most Non- Union Jobs are $20-$23 hr. around Detroit. Good Union scale jobs have always been tight there, compared to most larger cities. At least it’s always seemed that way to Me. That’s why I bought a Truck in the first place. Would have rather just turned the key.LtlAnonymous Thanks this.

I have been lately, but with about 65-68 hours a week over 6 days.LtlAnonymous and Rideandrepair Thank this.

im fully aware it can be done. i see it here, we aren’t union and have company paid benefits. but not in 4 days, no snow, no nights. i’m on track for 6 digits this year but i work nights, avging about 47 hrs a week. trying to cut that back but i’m too far down the line.Bob Dobalina, LtlAnonymous, FlaSwampRat and 1 other person Thank this.
