Well today is day 5 out with my trainer. And we are sitting :( All in all it hasn't been to bad, for some reason my shifting has taken a ####, I very rarely used to grind grears in school, now I'm grinding them pretty often. I think it's the rpms they want us to shift at is throwing me off somehow, or it could just be that I'm a little slow ;)
Trainers truck is pretty nice, fridge with freezer and microwave. My wireless internet is working great, so when we shut down for the night, I can watch a few tv shows before bed. It's funny how often you look at the qualcom when you have nothing to do. I've look at it 3 times while typing this message. I'll do my best to keep updating how it's going out here.

    Fooman Thanks this.

We are running in a Freightliner columbia. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done. From what I understand most of our fleet is the Columbia's

Ok, I guess I should have stated that differently. ;)

I know what you mean though. But the novelty will wear off once you're used to working with it and have been everywhere.

I trained in ten-speed Columbias. I think that's the only kind they train with.

    chipbase Thanks this.

Hey I have a question do you have to have your passport/passcard before you can go with a trainer. I do not think I will have mine in time.

So, i guess you are in EVO 1 ?

and you are in a company truck, and the driver installed all the goodies?

    Did you go thru RDTC?

Are you pulling Vans or ???

So, freight a little slow still?

Where are some places you have been so far?

Thanks... I am plumb questioned out!:biggrin_25520:

Hey chip! I'm not in training. This is joeduno's thread. I trained last year. I'm half-Ohioan, though.

Budroux also started a training thread, but stopped posting to it right at the arrival date. I don't think he made it through orientation.
