Blew a coolant hose. Fixed. 2013 Pete 386 Cummins 525 isx. No diagnostic codes now but had spn 111 fmi 18 low coolant when hose blew. Large (bigger) low coolant light shows on dashboard. Coolant is full! engine is fine but seems like truck thinks coolant is low.
No diagnostic codes now. Replaced sensor and wiring to sensor is fine.
Is there a way to clear the low coolant dash warning light ??? Thanks. Jeff

Tap the reservoir near the sensor to encourage air bubbles to move on

Inside the reservoir there is a floating magnet that the sensor reads. Sometimes it gets stuck and the reservoir has to get replaced. Pull the sensor out of the bottom of the tank and put a magnet to the top of it. If the light goes out it needs a tank.
Pull the wires right at the plug as well, they get stressed and often break inside.
