Tell us what idiot company told you this so people can know not to go there. That’s one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever read here.

That might be the dumbest #### i ever heard and ive heard some dumb #### in my life time. I bet that statement came from the top dawg in the safety department.seems like those guys make up new rules everyday, sometimes u wonder what drugs they are smokin up in that office.

The other kicker is the same person told us we didnt have to write remarks on our status changes (as far as the on-duty changes), just location...which our ELD's did automatically anyways. I decided to go with the flow. It took them 4 years of me being with them for someone in the logging dep to go 'uh, yer not doing this right'. Altho I've had my logs checked and seems as long as it marked location they were content with just that. Company was Stan Koch & Sons

It was someone from safety but it wasnt the dep head. But yeah I agree. Every company I've ever been with has made up some ######## interpretation of the law. As far as dumb #### goes *I've* had to correct them on some things. Im like, hey yer safety your suppose to know more than me. Although Ive had to correct some LEO as well so there's that.

companies can ASK for many things.
The green book says City and State at status change. I haven't seen anything more than that addressed in it.
I may have missed that though.
