Hey Keelady, are you still driving for Baldwin? I've been thinking about making a change. I used to pull a reefer, but switched to flatbed a couple of years ago. I talked to a couple of drivers that pull for reefer companies, and they say it is kinda slow right now because pork movement has slowed because of the swine flu scare. How many miles are you averaging per week right now? I figure the swine flu scare should be over soon.

I would look for a chrome plating company and have it tripple chromed. I'm sure it will be the most cost effective option. Also depending on who does this you may be able to find out what prep is needed and save the labor cost on prep work.

prep work for having something chromed to show quality is always out of control....

in your case its peeling, so you would have to make sure you get it ALL off and yea, ppl think they can jus peel it all off but it usually dont all come off, therefore it will need to be stripped off with another special process, or sanded off, and then your ready to start your prep work ha
