So today I was hooking up to a loaded trailer and my truck parking brakes weren't locked and door was open the alarm sound was on (normal). After I hooked up I pushed out the brake and closed the door. When I opened the door the alarm is always on now even if my brakes are locked. And truck if off. I'm guessing a short somewhere? Any idea or advice would be great. 2012 cascadia no codes are coming up on the dash. And not sure if it has anything to do with a fuse.

Our Cascadia's at my old company did weird stuff like that. It's likely just a computer glitch.
Can you turn off the battery disconnect at the batteries for a minute or two and see if it resets?Dave_in_AZ, MackRookie, mhyn and 1 other person Thank this. -

Eloy, AZ. 3 years later, and your reply is still helping people, brother. I just disconnected my batteries, and then reconnected them. No more annoying door chime coming on all the time! :0 Now it only comes on if you've left the lights on, and opened the door. That is how it is supposed to work. Thank you so much.
