Do you care where your tires were made?

I prefer round ones. However, if you drive alot in Indiana square ones will give you a smoother ride.

 

I'd shoot myself in the face, before I put any Chinese tires on my truck...

 

I drive my truck exactly as I ride my motorcycle.
I buy the best tires possible and would not accept Chinese trash in either

 

i prefered my truck tires to be put onto my equipment at no charge to me, since i was always a company driver. what country they were concived and born in, i could care less, as long as they were made in a factory, and not in someone's backyard in an old pizza oven.

i usually prefered tires made of rubber, that will hold air. my days of riding on solid rubber tires are well behind me...

 

Although Chinese tires are horrible, whats it really matter? Every other part on your truck was probly made over seas or in mexico anyways.

 

Only three brands. Yoko, Bridge or Mich. Certain brands are not selected regardless of savings. Anything else borders on Political and I refuse to visit that door number three here.

 

Chinese tires, American tires,, doesnt make a difference. The miles a driver gets out of them is contingent on the the driver him/herself. I've blown American tires, I've blown Chinese tires. I've had success with both

 

Our replacement pair of Bridgestone on the one tractor with married team, we put about 195000 on it and the treads looked like they were good for purposes of giving the truck to a solo. He or she probably expect close to another 100K out of it if the truck is taken care of and not abused.

That one truck we turned in numbers that were very good in terms of wear and tear. It still had it's original brake pads and so on after we turned it in at 210000 miles back to FFE. Engine accumulated close to 8500 hours by then munching on a alternator about two or three times a year requiring a replacement.

 

Made in the U.S.A. is my only choice.

Also the price of Made in China tires has risen in the last few years to almost the same price as mid-tiered U.S.A. tires so it’s a no brainer to purchase U.S.A. tires.
