I don't think the driver's story holds up and neither do the troopers.

That stretch is always slow rolling and with current road construction it's almost a constant standstill and creep along.

If traffic was stopped, where did the ghost car speed off too??
It would be much more beliveable if he said the one he hit cut in front of him at the last second.Canadianhauler21, Opus, stwik and 2 others Thank this. -
Sounds like another idiot playing with his phone probably and slamming into traffic at highway speed. 2 toddlers dead in a burning vehicle, awful!

You should see the local paper where I live. You can go to any section and without even trying, find half a dozen errors, some of which are just unreal and makes it appear that a 2nd grader wrote the article. We finally cancelled it last year after 30+ years of subscribing because it just became more of an eyesore than anything.spyder7723, Bud A., Intothesunset and 3 others Thank this.

I took a Journalism class in college and if I remember correctly, the prof said newspaper articles are written at the 6th grade comprehension level... still not an excuse for simple spelling and grammatical errors though.
I get that, but if its your job to write, I'd think you would at least proof-read it....
