Yes. The retailer pays whatever rate they negotiate with the jobber, unless the retailer is big enough to have an account directly with the rack.snowman1980 and Ricco1689 Thank this.

As someone like you with no kids or relationships, I can tell you that you're not missing much, i was fuel hauling in Phoenix, but came out here to hobbs NM, money is good, but life sucks. Nothing to do, nowhere to go. And the whole area smells like h2s.bentstrider83 Thanks this.

Definitely depends because the KAG where im at is the best company with the 2nd highest pay

There's pretty much nowhere to go except Lubbock or Midland, but the money is good and there wasn't much to do around there when I left. But I don't think the whole area smells like H2S, although I will say that Luling, TX certainly does.bentstrider83 Thanks this.

Been down to Hobbs a few times since the date of this above post. Not too bad of a town. Nice little western history museum by the Class 3 train tracks, a couple of nice parks, and there's the remains of a long gone WW2 airfield by the golf course. Of course I'm more of a history buff who goes bonkers over abandoned night clubs and bars than I do live ones!!RockinChair Thanks this.

IMHO - it’s a certain type of person that actually loves fuel hauling. Im not sure how to even put it. Just think Wyatt Earp.
bentstrider83 Thanks this. -
The locals can tell you quite a few stories about the old topless bar that used to be on the corner of 218 down on the south side of town.
And there's an old place north of town on Denver City Highway at the crossroads with 133 that looks like it used to be a bar, but I never got a chance to check into it.bentstrider83 Thanks this.
